Extended Hours Appointments
This surgery offers Online Pre bookable Telephone Triage appointments to speak to a GP early morning or late evenings during the week.
These appointments are available weekly on a Monday morning & Thursday evening. These are subject to change during Bank holiday closures or when doctors are away on leave.
Sowe Valley Enhanced Access - Hubs
Appointments are available Monday-Friday evenings and Saturdays from three hub locations
Enhanced Access Hubs are: Forum Health Centre, Kenyon Medical Centre and Wood End Health Centre.
The reception Team will be able to book an appointment for you Via the GP connect portal.
Emergencies
Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood, breathing difficulties, or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest Accident & Emergency department or call 999. Accident & Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day 365 days a year and provide emergency care.
When the Surgery is closed
Outside of the opening hours you need to ring 111. This service should be used if you need medical help fast but it is not life threatening. This service is called NHS111 and ensures that patients receive the right medical care, from the right person, in the right time and place. A trained adviser will ask you questions to find out what is wrong, give you medical advice and direct you to someone who can help you, like an out - of - hours doctor or community nurse. The 111 telephone number is free to ring from landlines or mobiles 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You can use NHS 111 online 111.nhs.uk. 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
If it’s a life-threatening emergency call 999.

We are closed on all Public Holidays. Please be aware that the surgery will be closed on:

- Monday 26th August 2024 - Summer BH
- Wednesday 25th December - Christmas Day and Thursday 26th December - Boxing Day
