NHS App Posted or Updated on 17 Jun 2019

The APP went live across Coventry & Warwickshire on 3rd June 2019 and it provides a simple and secure way for people to access a range of NHS services on their smartphone or tablet.

The NHS App is now available to the public on Google Play and Apple app stores.

Use the NHS App to:

  • check your symptoms
  • find out what to do when you need help urgently
  • book and manage appointments at your GP surgery
  • order repeat prescriptions
  • securely view your GP medical record
  • register to be an organ donor
  • choose how the NHS uses your data

There are two ways that you can verify your identity to use the NHS App.

Prove your identity - new and existing users of online service can use this option. Taking a photo of a UK driving license or passport, you can verify your ID online without coming into the practice. ID is verified by NHS digital and usually takes up to 2 hours.

GP online services - If you are already registered for online services you can use the linkage key details already provided. This is also an option for patients with no ID.

If you would like your online details or any further information please speak to reception.
