CORONAVIRUS- COVID-19 INFORMATION Posted or Updated on 17 Sep 2022

WHO CAN I CONTACT IF I HAVE A QUERY ABOUT MY COVID VACCINE RECORDS?

You should call 119 if you need help regarding your COVID Vaccine Records or COVID Passport.

WHAT IF MY SYMPTOMS WORSEN

You should first contact 111 if you feel your symptoms are unmanageable at home, or if your condition worsens.

CORONAVIRUS TESTING

Anyone who has symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) can apply for a free test to check if they have the virus. This is called the Antigen Test.

ADVICE FOR THE CLINICALLY EXTREMELY VULNERABLE

People who are clinically vulnerable should continue to take precautions but may now choose to leave their home, as long as they are able to maintain social distancing. If you choose to spend time outdoors, you may do so with members of your own household. If you live alone, you can spend time outdoors with one person from another household. Ideally, this should be the same person each time.

Please make sure you have your flu jab if you are in a shielding group.

CAN I GET A SICK NOTE IF I AM SELF ISOLATING?

Patients with suspected coronavirus (Covid-19) who self-isolate can request an email confirming this from NHS 111, instead of a sick note from their GP.

Those who self-isolate may self-validate for the first 28 days.

After the seven days, you may seek an email confirmation of the diagnosis by dialling 111 - avoiding an unnecessary and potentially dangerous trip to either their GP or hospital.
